Then there's the time I took the kids to the park & realized I didn't have any shoes on. Y'know, I can understand not noticing if my kids were missing shoes, but how is one unaware when their own shoes aren't on???
I've taken Ashlyn out and forgot to put her shoes on, but never completely forgotten mine. I came close though when I wore my yellow Croc's to church because I forgot to change my shoes that morning.
back when Eric and i first got married and i was still working full-time, Josh went to a preschool right around the corner from my school. in Irving. we live 45 minutes away from Irving. Eric loaded Josh up in the car at 6:15 in the morning, i got everything else in, then we took off. when we arrived at the school, Josh was shoeless and sockless. in WINTER. guess who looked like a first-class mom? one of the teacher aides at my school offered to go to walmart that morning for me and grab some shoes in Josh's size. then i had to take them back to him at the preschool while my class was left with another teacher at recess so he could play in centers, outside, etc. talk about embarrassing...
