normally, i don't dress up, but since my in-laws were going to be enjoying halloween with us, my very creative mother-in-law, & sister-in-law thought it'd be fun to do a group costume, and since they did all the work how could i resist? :)
We were the 3 fairies from sleeping beauty. I think i was flora - but i've never seen the movie, so i'm not really sure.Didn't they do a great job on the costumes!?
People *loved* seeing the three fairies & everyone gushed over how wonderful it was & asked to take pictures. What a strange feeling to be a celebrity. :)
Chris was a MasterCard commercial. :)

The Boys were bees. It's truly impossible to get a good picture of those boys. they just can't hold a decent smile for more than half a second! I finally gave up. This is my best one of about 5.

first of all, you've NEVER SEEN SLEEPING BEAUTY?!?!?!?! that was my FAVORITE disney movie growing up. i wanted so badly to be aurora, despite being a big tomboy. anyway, now i think it's kinda severe with the evil witch lady...but i still like it. :)

the kids look cute, too - but Gideon just looked SO THRILLED (ha) to be a bee... :) your mom in law is so creative. OH and Chris' costume was a great idea - who came up with that one?!?!

I LOVE Chris' costume!! I'm going to have to remember that one. I went as a dog trainer this year, (complete with dog of course). My costume took about as much effort as chris' :)
i was supposed to wear a pink wig this year for halloween. eric ended up wearing it. :) it just looked far better on him...kinda like garth from wayne's world, but pink. it was even better when WHILE he was wearing it, he sucked some helium from a ballon and started talking.
and yeah remember the fairies?!?! they tried getting rid of their magic and living as mortals, then made a royal mess of the kitchen and house when trying to decorate a cake and dress.
re: chris' costume- i had to think of something quick & easy, so i looked up some ideas on the internet. they had some really good ones. he got lots of compliments. :)
No heather, never seen sleeping beauty. actually... i don't think i've seen any of the classics. i only just recently found out who aurora was. i keept seeing this other princess in pink, w/cinderella & snow white, saying "who's *that?" poor deprived me. :)
I've *so* got to see a picture of eric in the pink wig. :)
